In designing the office Interiors of the Tulip Mobile office in 2004 and 2005 in Copenhagen, Lakshmi created these handcrafted lamps and fixtures that were handmade, inspired by the simple, clean lines of Nordic designs. Unfortunately, Copenhagen didn't have many sunny days, and she spent most of her time making and sourcing furniture to accent the lamps designed for the office of TulipM from the ground up. Fortunately, the city had a lot to offer in understanding Scandinavian art, design and culture.
